Why We Are a Private Pay Practice:

Our practice is intentionally structured as a private pay practice so we can provide the highest level of care without the limitations imposed by insurance companies.

Insurance providers often require a formal diagnosis which stays on your record, restrict the number of sessions allowed, and determine what types of treatment are considered “medically necessary.” These restrictions can interfere with the depth and pace of meaningful therapeutic work.

By remaining out-of-network, we are able to prioritize your privacy, offer more individualized treatment, and create a therapeutic process that is guided by your goals, not by insurance guidelines.

Many of our clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits, and we are happy to provide the paperwork needed for reimbursement.

We understand that this can be a barrier to receiving care, which is why we offer reduced rate options. Please call or text 210-816-1366 for more information on reduced rate, as these spots are limited.

Reimbursement through Out Of Network Benefits:

We have partnered with Mentaya, a company that helps you understand your Out of Network benefits, and allows you to submit claims for reimbursement. We cannot guarantee reimbursement and each plan will vary. Click the link below to check your Out of Network Benefits to see if you qualify for reimbursement.

HSA & FSA

Therapy qualifies as a medical expense, which means your HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) can be used to cover session fees. This is a great option for clients who want to use pre-tax dollars to offset the cost of care.

Sliding Scale

We hold a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who are experiencing financial hardship. Sliding scale availability varies by therapist and is not guaranteed, but we encourage you to ask during your consultation call if cost is a barrier to starting. We'll always be honest with you about what's available.

Is Therapy Worth It?

We'd be a little biased answering that — so we'll just say this: the clients who show up consistently, who invest in this process, are the ones who feel the shift. Not because therapy is magic, but because prioritizing yourself, week after week, changes something.

If you've been on the fence, the free consultation call is a low-pressure place to start. There's no commitment, no pressure — just a real conversation about what you're carrying and whether we're the right fit to help.

FAQs

Do you take insurance?

1

We're a private pay practice and don't bill insurance directly. We provide superbills for clients who want to seek out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance plan.

What forms of payment do you accept?

2

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards.

Is sliding scale available?

3

We hold limited sliding scale spots depending on therapist availability. If cost is a concern, please mention it during your consultation call and we'll let you know what's currently available.

Our cancellation policy is discussed during the intake process. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations when possible. You may contact us to cancel via phone or through your patient portal.

What if I need to cancel a session?

4

No. Therapy is a collaborative process and there's no required minimum. That said, consistency tends to produce the best outcomes — most clients find weekly sessions most effective, especially early in treatment.
