Yamilet Molina, MS, LPC (she/hers/ella)

Are you a high achiever or an athlete struggling with your confidence?

Are you self-critical about yourself, your body, your food choices, and your performance?

Are you overwhelmed by perfectionism, but can’t seem to let go?

The pressure to always do more, be better, or look a certain way leaves you feeling exhausted, frustrated, and disconnected from yourself.

Food has become a source of stress, and thoughts about eating, exercising, or your body take up more space in your mind than you'd like to admit.
No matter how much control you try to maintain, it never feels like enough, and the cycle of restriction, bingeing, or over-exercising feels impossible to break.

Anxiety only adds to the weight you carry. Your mind races with intrusive thoughts, self-doubt, and an overwhelming fear of failure. And if you've experienced trauma, those wounds may still be shaping how you move through the world, keeping you stuck in cycles of perfectionism, avoidance, or shame.

Hi, I’m Yamilet! I am a former athlete turned therapist, specializing in helping athletes, gym-goers, and high achievers to break free from disordered eating, body image struggles, anxiety, and the weight of unprocessed trauma.

My approach is rooted in compassion and evidence-based strategies, helping you heal your relationship with food, movement, and yourself—without fear or guilt. Together, we’ll address the root causes keeping you stuck and help you build a foundation for lasting healing.

I Specialize in…

Eating Disorders

Eating disorders don’t always look the way people expect. Sometimes they show up as “clean eating,” food guilt, or a constant mental tally of calories and workouts. Whether you’re struggling with restriction, bingeing, or just feeling out of control around food, I offer a safe, shame-free space to get to the root of what’s going on. Together, we’ll rebuild trust with your body, break free from the cycle, and help you feel more at peace in your own skin.

Athletes

If you’re someone who’s used to pushing yourself—whether in sports, academics, or life—then burnout, anxiety, and perfectionism can easily fly under the radar. I work with athletes and high performers who feel like no matter how much they achieve, it’s never enough. Whether it’s pressure to perform, fear of failure, or struggling to slow down, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself beyond the hustle and learn to thrive from a place of alignment, not exhaustion.

Relational Trauma

Trauma doesn’t always come from one big event—it can build up slowly over time through chronic stress, toxic relationships, or unmet emotional needs. You might look like you’re holding it all together on the outside, but inside you feel stuck, disconnected, or constantly on edge. I help clients gently process past experiences so they can stop living in survival mode. Through a supportive, trauma-informed approach, we’ll work to restore safety in your body, rewrite old patterns, and help you move forward with more clarity, self-trust, and ease.

Approach to Therapy

I take an individualized approach to therapy, combining evidence-based strategies and creating a space where you can show up as your authentic self. My goal is to help you build resilience, improve your mental well-being, and make lasting changes in your life. Whether you’re navigating trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, or simply looking to grow, I’m here to support you through it all with empathy, understanding, and respect for your journey.
